Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. Then, she went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd won her next match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd did not make weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina with her ground and pound techniques and earned a TKO 2nd round win. Her dominance continued and she got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the opening round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC at ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
