Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974, Aviano Italy American actor. She is renowned for her critically-acclaimed performances of charming, naive individuals. Adams was was raised in Castle Rock Colorado, as one of the seven kids who was her smallest. Her father was serving in U.S. service in Italy. In the early 1990s, Adams began dancing professionally for Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she worked at a regional theater where her character was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a mockumentary about beauty magazines. When she made her screen debut as a charming but snarky contestant, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Janet Leigh was married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 and September 1962. The couple had children: Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began after signing a MGM contract in the late 1940s. She was discovered through actress Norma Shearer. She appeared in several popular films over the following decade including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis film from 1954).
